Septate hymen removal?

How safe is the surgery? Is it normal or common to have compilations and how much is the cost? I want to get it done ASAP but my mom is freaking out about it because she's afraid if they mess up I wont be able to enjoy later in life (im a virgin). Anyone with experience in the surgery? Should I worry?
